The Light Wiz ("we", "us") is a holiday lighting brand of BNA Services & Event Rentals LLC, based in Colorado. This policy explains what information we collect through www.thelightwiz.com, quote.thelightwiz.com and our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, email, home or business address, photos of your property, the lighting you're interested in, the best time to reach you, and anything you write to us.
- Booking information. If you book, we collect what we need to install, service, take down and store your lights: install dates, the address, and payment information. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We don't store full card numbers.
- Website and ad information. When you visit our sites or interact with our ads, cookies and similar tools collect basic information, such as pages viewed, the device and browser you use, your approximate location (city level), and how you found us.
How we use it
- To prepare your quote, using your address and photos.
- To schedule, install, service, take down and store your lights.
- To contact you by email, phone call or text message about your request or booking.
- To send occasional seasonal offers, only if you haven't opted out.
- To understand how people use our sites, and to measure and improve our advertising.
- To keep records required for taxes, accounting and legal purposes.
Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your quote or booking, and occasionally about seasonal offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. We don't share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing.
Your property photos
We use photos of your property only to design, measure and quote your lighting and to plan the install. We don't post them publicly without your permission.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only for that purpose:
- our website and quote-system hosts
- our email and texting providers
- our payment processor
- Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), including lead forms you fill out on Facebook or Instagram
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and safety.
Cookies, analytics and ads
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use our sites, and Google and Meta tools to measure our ads and show them to people who may be interested. You can limit this:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Use Google's ad settings (adssettings.google.com) and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Change your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and booking records as long as needed to serve you, including next season's install and storage, and to meet tax and legal requirements. Marketing contact details are kept until you opt out.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any marketing email.
- Stop texts by replying STOP.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us below. We may need to keep some records for legal or tax reasons.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No website or online service is completely secure.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
